Although this year’s Santa Ynez Valley Polo Classic, an annual fundraiser to benefit local nonprofit People Helping People, has been postponed due to COVID-19 concerns, Happy Canyon Vineyard will be donating proceeds of an ongoing wine sale to help support the organization in the event’s absence.

For customers who use a special discount code, PHPSYV20, to order their wine, 100 percent of their purchase will go to benefit People Helping People, which is dedicated to providing critical supplies to Santa Ynez families and individuals during times of need. Last year, the Polo Classic raised $100,000 in donations and served more than 1,400 attendees, who enjoyed a variety of fast-paced polo matches. Special guest polo players included Nacho Figueras and Memo Gracida.

Purchases during the wine sale will be available for pickup at Happy Canyon Vineyard’s Santa Barbara tasting room, located at 30 El Paseo, Santa Barbara. For purchases of 12 bottles or more, free shipping will be included. Users of the discount code will also receive 10 percent off the cost (30 percent off for club members).
