For the eighth year in a row, Allan Hancock College will salute the U.S. Armed Forces during a home football game—the Bulldogs’ contest against College of the Canyons on Oct. 23.

The first 200 military members, veterans, and their families who pick up advance tickets will be admitted at no charge, and served a free tri-tip barbecue meal. A special halftime presentation will also honor local active-duty military and veterans.

Pre-game festivities, including the tailgate-style barbecue, start at Righetti High School’s Warrior Stadium at 4 p.m., followed by kick off at 6 p.m.

Tickets can be picked up at the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce, 614 S. Broadway, and the Allan Hancock College Foundation office, located at 936 S.
College Drive.

Vandenberg Air Force Base personnel should contact
the 30th Space Wing Public Affairs office at 606-3595 to obtain tickets.
