The best Northern Santa Barbara County high school seniors will take on San Luis Obispo County all-stars at the 22nd annual Kiwanis Central Coast All-Star Basketball Spectacular on March 31 at Allan Hancock College.

The event features boys’ and girls’ games, and three-point shooting and slam-dunk contests between the game and at halftimes. Coaches for the Santa Barbara County team are Cabrillo’s Kari Rossen for the girls’ team and Pioneer Valley’s Eddie Hernandez for the boys.

The girls’ game tips off at 5 p.m. and the boys’ game starts at about 7 p.m. at the Joe White Memorial Gymnasium at Allan Hancock College.

Ā General tickets cost $8 at the door and $4 for students and children. All proceeds from the event will support youth sports and scholarships for high school seniors.

Attendees will also have an opportunity to sink a half-court shot and win a two-year lease on a Dodge Challenger. Participants must register at Santa Maria Chrysler/Jeep/Ram/Dodge.
