For the seventh straight year, Allan Hancock College will salute the armed forces during the Bulldogs’ home game against Bakersfield on Oct. 10.
The first 250 active-duty military members, veterans, and their families to pick up advance tickets will get free admission to the game and a tailgate-style tri-tip meal before it starts. The pre-game festivities begin at 4 p.m., followed by kickoff at 6 p.m. A special halftime show will also honor the military members’ service.
Pick up tickets from the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce at 614 S. Broadway or the Allan Hancock College Foundation office at 936 S. College Dr., both in Santa Maria.
