On May 22, the Bulldogs held cheerleading tryouts to find current and incoming students with plenty of school pride and a desire to represent the college throughout the community.

The squad, which features both males and females, performs at Hancock sporting events, student body activities, and basketball and football games.

ā€œGetting involved in cheerleading allows students to learn the importance of teamwork in a fun and exciting atmosphere,ā€ cheer coach Henry Schroff said in a Hancock press release. ā€œOur squad members help spread the sense of pride in the college and our student athletes during games and community service projects.ā€
