Gallery owner Judith Hale was the juror for the October juried show of the Artists Guild, which is hanging in the guild section of Gallery Los Olivos through October.

Both the judge’s award and first place were given to paintings of artichokes by Mary Jean Connors. First place went to Artichokes in Flower. Second place went to Jerry Rynders for his photograph, A Path in the Redwoods. Geri Dun took third place for Over the Ridge.

Honorable mentions were awarded to paintings by John Card, Joan Jones, and Hatti Stodard.

Gallery Los Olivos is open to the public each day at 2920 Grand Ave. in Los Olivos. Juried shows at which guild members may submit works are held every other month in the gallery. Ingatherings are held the first Wednesday of the month. m
