Golfers are invited to tee off in support of community health care at the 22nd annual Leland “Butch” Simas and Felix Fly, M.D., Memorial Golf Tournament on March 28.
The tournament will be held at the Santa Maria Country Club, and will be hosted by the Marian Medical Center Foundation. All proceeds will benefit Marian’s Cornerstone Campaign to build a new hospital for the Santa Maria community.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. with the shotgun tee off at 10 a.m. The $200 entry fee includes the green fee, cart, lunch, tee prizes, and admission to the Victory Award Reception, which begins at 3:30 p.m. Santa Maria Elks Lodge No. 1538 will provide a barbecue lunch for all participants during the tournament. Participants will also have an opportunity to compete for prizes, including a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado Crew Cab truck from Home Motors. Corporate sponsorships cost $1,000 and include the cost of entry fees for four golfers, plus a tee sign.
