The Guadalupe Dunes Center will lead a hike through the Land Conservancy’s Black Lake Ecological area in honor of Kathleen Goddard Jones’ birthday on July 12.
According to the center, Jones worked for the preservation of the Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes as enjoyment.
The hike will explore the unique Black Lake Ecological Area and dune habitat that Jones worked to protect. Be sure to bring a jacket and water.
The hike will depart at 10 a.m. and return at 12 p.m. Please meet at 1158 Cabrillo Highway.
