The Wildling Museum in Solvang is offering a Holiday Marketplace event for locals seeking naturally inspired artwork and gifts for the holiday season. The event happens Dec. 6 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Wildling Museum following Solvang’s annual Julefest Parade.

The event will have a couple of family arts and crafts classes, including customized gift-wrap making from 1 to 3 p.m. The Old Mission Santa Ines Choir will perform at 3 p.m. There will also be a screening of the documentary ā€œThe Condor’s Shadowā€ in the museum’s Barbara Goodall Education Center.

Various artists will be sharing and selling their works at the show, including clothing and jewelry by Bella Notte Due, beaded jewelry by Heather Federlein, silk wine bags by Lida Grant, fallen tree art by Chris Hansen, timely jewels by Monika Miehle, seashell ornaments by Catherine Moss, ceramics by Petti Pfua, wooden mirrors and cocks by Dave Seymour, sea glass jewelry by Sisters Jewelry, ceramics by Ed Spaw, fiber art by Mary Stanley, and pine needle baskets by Marilyn Voorhis.
