The Wildling Art Museum’s last “Get Inspired!” program for the year is inspired by the current exhibition “Island Encounters: The Art and Conservation of the Channel Islands.”

Professional photographer Ines Roberts will offer two short inspirational shows from 7 to 8 p.m. on Dec. 9. Using slides of her work synched with music, Roberts will give two short inspirational shows: “Fata Morgana,” first shown at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art in the 1970s; and “Songs of the Sea,” showcasing the Pacific Ocean and elephant seals. Admission to the presentation is $5 (free for Wildling members), with seating on a first come, first served basis.

According to the London Salon of Photography, Roberts “has produced over 35 slide-music programs since 1972 when her first show ‘The Four Seasons of Sequoia’ received a standing ovation at the PSA International Convention of Photography in San Francisco.” She’s won numerous prizes for her photography, and her work has been published in magazines around the world.
