Altrusa International of the Central Coast, in conjunction with the $1 Bookstore, will hold its annual Festival of Books on the second floor of Town Center East on July 10 and 24 and Aug. 7 and 21 from noon to 3 p.m. Children may pick out a free book. Last year, Altrusa gave away 800 books between July and August.
