Flying Goat Cellars is celebrating National Honey Bee Day with a honey and wine tasting event on Aug. 16 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is part of Flying Goat Cellars’ Wine and Culture in the Ghetto series, which includes a section of the Santa Maria Valley Beekeepers Association’s award-winning fair exhibit in the tasting room’s gallery.
Members of the Lompoc Valley Beekeepers Association will be offering tips on local beekeeping and sustainable gardening as well as presenting an observation hive.
