Johnson has scored numerous film, television, and theme park attraction projects for Warner, Disney, DreamWorks, MGM, and other companies over the past three decades. As a conductor, Johnson is well known for orchestrating Skyfall, Wall-e, Monsters Inc., The Perfect Storm, and other major motion picture scores.

“We are thrilled to have a talented and knowledgeable television and film composer like Carl join our faculty,” Nichole Dechaine, an assistant music professor at Hancock, said in  press materials. “We are excited that our students will be able to study with such a highly accomplished expert in the fields of music composition and business.”

Johnson’s music business course is part of Hancock’s Associate in Arts music degree program, which was designed for students planning to transfer to a four-year university or seeking employment in the music industry. Visit hancockcollege.edu/summerfall for more info.
