Allan Hancock College faculty member John Hood will host a trip to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Nov. 14. The bus leaves from the college’s student center at 7 a.m. and will return at 10 p.m. The trip will include opportunities to see art shows such as The Art and Craft of Arthur and Lucia Mathews, The Early Work of Edward Kienholz, Japanese Paintings: Twenty Years of Acquisitions, Luis MelĆ©ndez: Master of the Spanish Still Life, Heroes and Villains: The Battle for Good in India’s Comics, and New Topographics. The transportation fee is $40, in addition to $8 for students and seniors or $12 for adults. Sign up in the Fine Arts lobby at the college by Oct. 26.
