The Santa Ynez Valley Therapeutic Riding Program and the Santa Ynez Valley Equestrian Association are holding a joint benefit on June 2, showcasing several world-class equestrians.

Equestrian entertainer Ramon Becerra, a multiple world champion, and Cowgirl Hall of Famer Sandy Collier—named by Horse & Rider magazine as one of the ā€œ50 Greatest Horsemen of All Time in All Disciplinesā€ā€”are scheduled to perform. Olympic bronze medalist dressage rider and FEI judge Charlotte Bredahl-Baker will also make an appearance, along with several special-needs therapeutic riding students.

The event runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Santa Ynez Valley Equestrian Center, 195 Refugio Road in Santa Ynez. Hors d’ouevres and wine will be served, and local art will be on display. Tickets cost $35 per person and are available at the gate and in advance. Children get in free with a paid adult. VIP tickets cost $50 and include a barbecue dinner.

Collier will also be host to a reining clinic at the center from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.. All proceeds will benefit the Santa Ynez Valley Therapeutic Riding Program. The clinic is $150 to participate and $35 to audit, including lunch.
