Grossman Gallery at the Lompoc Library will feature landscape artist Todd Anderson during July. A reception for the artist will take place on July 10 from 5 to 7 p.m.

A plein air painter, Anderson has shown in galleries throughout the state. He’s a graduate of UCSB’s Art Studio Honors Program and has been painting for more than 25 years. Although most of his paintings focus on local landscapes and urbanscapes, he also depicts rural and urban areas of the Oregon Coast, Idaho, and deserts in the southwest.

Anderson is a former student at Santa Ynez Valley Union High School, class of 1983, where he studied under Ann Raleigh. He also studied under Valley artists Martha Brandt-Erichsen, Carl Jacobsen, Mavis Coffing, Ben Meade, and Santa Barbara artist Michael Drury.

The Lompoc Library is at 501 East North Ave. For more information about the show, call the Lompoc Library at 736-3477. Visit Anderson’s website at tandersonart.com.
