On Saturday, March 5, the Elverhoj Museum of History and Art in Solvang will host a special artist talk, Do Sculptures Speak?, with featured speakers Susan Read Cronin and Laure-Ann Bosselaar. Cronin is a bronze sculptor and poet with a current solo exhibition at the museum and Bosselaar is a Santa Barbara Poet Laureate Emerita. The talk starts at 3:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
Cronin and Bosselaar will be joined by other guest poets during an additional talk, Voices in Poetry, which will be held at the Elverhoj Museum on Saturday, April 2, at 2 p.m. To find out more about both events, call (805) 686-1211 or visit elverhoj.org.Ā
Croninās current art exhibit, Fables, Foibles, and Fairy Tales, will run through Sunday, April 24. The Elverhoj Museum of History and Art is located at 1624 Elverhoy Way, Solvang.
