Lompoc High School senior Elizabeth Twomey is the “definition of hardworking.”

That’s according to head cheer coach Kira Gonzalez, who said Twomey has been a leading force on the cheer squad for all four years of her high school career and team captain for two. Meanwhile, Twomey has consistently juggled a rigorous school course load, hours of volunteer work, and numerous other extra curricular activities.Ā

Twomey, 17, ranks third in her class of 348 students, serves as president of both the Associated Student Body and the Drama Club, and has danced at Boscutti Ballet Theater since she was 3 years old.

And no matter how many responsibilities Twomey puts on her plate, she always gives her all.Ā

“Elizabeth has juggled all of her many activities with unparalleled grace and humility,” Gonzalez said.Ā
