Throughout June, Gallery Los Olivos will feature the works of accomplished and diverse painters Mary Jean Connors, Morgan Green, and BJ Stapen along with jeweler Maggie Pickering. The public is invited to meet the artists at a reception from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, at the gallery at 2950 Grand Ave. in Los Olivos.

Connors paints in oils, often creating ā€œportraitsā€ of fruits, vegetables, and flowers in their natural setting. She emphasizes the shape, color, and range of light and shadow that appear in outdoor sunlight.

Green is an oil and pastel painter influenced by the California Impressionists of the early 20th century. She strives for strong qualities of light and mood in landscapes.

Plein air painter Stapen brings the coast, vineyards, and mountains to life through her colorful impressionistic oil paintings.

Pickering will showcase her enamel cloisonnƩ works, which are rich in color, along with silversmith pieces made from repurposed silver, semiprecious stones, Swarovski crystals, and pearls.
