The Dellos Performing Arts Competition Team returned from Hollywood Connection’s Finals in Anaheim as winners in several categories.

The teams were declared national champions in the Jr. Tap and Jr. Production Divisions, while the Senior Teams became national champions in Hip Hop and Contemporary, with the Senior Hip Hop team declared overall national champion, achieving the highest judges’ score of the competition.

The dancers were also voted as having the best sportsmanship, and team member Jillian Clark was announced as the Solo National Champion, outscoring 195 dancers. She was also a recipient of the Fame Award and was offered agency representation from DDO Artists Agency, the largest firm representing dancers for commercials, television, film, stage, and music tours.

Dellos Performing Arts Center will offer a summer intensive on Aug. 5 to 6. Camps and auditions are open to all ages, from beginning to advanced levels. For more information, visit delloscentralcoast.com or call 473-0898.
