An opening reception for Between Here and There, a new paintings exhibition at Cypress Gallery in Lompoc, takes place on Saturday, Aug. 31, from 2 to 4 p.m. The show features abstracted landscapes and pure abstracts from local artist Mikel Naccarato. Subjects of the landscapes range from areas in Hawaii to the Central Coast. Most of Naccarato’s art is inspired by Richter, Diebenkorn, and other contemporary abstract artists.
Between Here and There will remain on display at Cypress Gallery through Sept. 29. The gallery is located at 119 Cypress Ave., Lompoc. Naccarato’s art is also currently on display at Santa Maria Ameriprise Financial through Friday, Sept. 27. The office is located at 2605 S. Miller St., Santa Maria.
