The Cypress Gallery Featured Artist Exhibit for July presents paintings of women as seen through the eyes of two acrylic artists: two views and two very different approaches to portraying the female. ā€œLa Femmeā€ lets you imagine the female both as art and artist, as portrayed by Lompoc Valley Art Association members Karen Davis-MacDonald and Tonya Romano Schultz.

ā€œLa Femmeā€ will show June 28 to July 24 at the Cypress Gallery, 119 East Cypress Ave., in Lompoc.

An artists’ reception will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on July 3 at the gallery.
