The Cypress Gallery Featured Artist Exhibit for July presents paintings of women as seen through the eyes of two acrylic artists: two views and two very different approaches to portraying the female. “La Femme” lets you imagine the female both as art and artist, as portrayed by Lompoc Valley Art Association members Karen Davis-MacDonald and Tonya Romano Schultz.
“La Femme” will show June 28 to July 24 at the Cypress Gallery, 119 East Cypress Ave., in Lompoc.
An artists’ reception will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on July 3 at the gallery.
