A crew of nine cyclists came through Santa Maria in preparation for Push America’s Journey of Hope.

Joined by 28 other cyclists, the crew will cycle across the country—from Long Beach to Washington, D.C.—to raise funds and awareness for people with disabilities. They will average 75 miles a day and end at the national Capitol on Aug. 2.

A recent press release from Push America said the Journey of Hope team consists of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity men from across the country. The press release shared that each rider is committed to raising $5,500 on behalf of people with disabilities.
