The Santa Barbara County Arts Commission is kicking off its new Community Arts Enrichment (CAE) Grant Program, intended to support artists along with arts and cultural organizations by funding projects and activities that enrich communities throughout the county.

The funds go toward supporting new or innovative projects and collaborative efforts that leverage community resources, provide greater and more diverse participation in the arts, and integrate the arts into learning environments for children and young adults. Artists and art groups must be based in Santa Barbara County and the programs must serve county residents. Programs that help eliminate current barriers to cultural activities are encouraged.

Applications for the grants are due by April 30 through an online submittal process at sbartscommission.org/grants/CAE_grants.html. More information is available at sbartscommission.org or 568-3991.
