The C Gallery’s longtime director and curator, Connie Rohde (pictured), announced her plans to retire from the Los Alamos contemporary art gallery on Sept. 1.
“As of Sept. 30, I will have stepped away, as in ‘Elvis has left the building,’” Rohde wrote in an email. “It is my greatest hope that the arts will be part of Los Alamos and that someone will come forward to continue a business in the arts, and will take over The C Gallery.”
Rohde invited anyone interested in carrying on her work at the gallery to contact her to discuss the matter. The C Gallery is located at 466 Bell St., Los Alamos. More information is available at 344-3807, connie@thecgallery.com, or thecgallery.com.
