The Chumash Casino Resort in Santa Ynez presents a live performance from country artist, comedian, and actor Rodney Carrington on Friday, Aug. 12, at 8 p.m., in the venue’s Samala Showroom. The show is part of Carrington’s Let Me In! Tour. Tickets to the event range from $39 to $59.
Carrington is a platinum-selling record artist with eight major record label comedy albums under his belt. His comedy act typically combines stand-up with original songs, according to press materials. In 2017, Carrington’s album, Here Comes the Truth, climbed to the top of Spotify’s comedy charts and spawned a Netflix special. His latest album, Get Em Out, was released in 2019.
Between 2004 and 2006, Carrington starred on the television sitcom, Rodney, which ran for two seasons on ABC. He also co-starred with Toby Keith in the 2008 film, Beer for My Horses, which Carrington co-wrote with Keith.
