The Lompoc Valley Art Association will hold its monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 2 at Stone Pine Hall, 210 South H St., in Lompoc.
The guest artist will be Noreen LaPointe, best known as a ceramic artist. She’s also done choreography, costume design, play writing, set designing, hat making, and teaching art. The public is invited.
The association aims to create a better cultural environment in Lompoc, help artists develop their talents, promote fine art, and maintain the Cypress Gallery. For more information, call 737-1129.
