PCPA Theaterfest and the Solvang Centennial Committee will be host to the Opening Night Celebration benefit reception for the American premiere of My Fairytale, offering guests the exclusive opportunity to meet the show’s creative team, including Stephen Schwartz (composer), Philip LaZebnik (book), Flemming Enevold (creator), Scott Schwartz (director), and Mark Booher (PCPA artistic director), while enjoying premium local wines and appetizers created by Chef Bradley Ogden. 


The event takes place Aug. 27, at Hotel Corque, 420 Alisal Road in Solvang. Tickets to this once-in-a-lifetime event are $75 and can be purchased through the PCPA Box Office, by calling 922-8313 or online at pcpa.org.

Tickets to the Opening Night Celebration don’t include admission to the opening night performance of My Fairytale. Limited tickets to that show are still available and priced at $39.75 for adults, with discounts for students, children, and seniors.

My Fairytale is a musical about the legendary Danish author Hans Christian Andersen. It’s an enchanted journey into the imagination of one of the world’s greatest storytellers. My Fairytale was originally produced in Denmark in 2005 in honor of the bi-centennial of Hans Christian Andersen’s birth.
