A historical photo essay of African Americans on the Central Coast will be on display throughout February at the Santa Maria Public Library, 421 S. McClelland St. The exhibit will focus on Central Coast residents of African American heritage from 1884 through the 1970s. The exhibit is a part of the library’s celebration of African American Heritage month.
