The C Gallery in Los Alamos welcomes locals to join an afternoon lecture featuring nationally acclaimed sculptor Neil Goodman on April 10 from 4 to 5 p.m. at the gallery. Goodman will speak on his sculpting style, which explores themes of size and scope with both small and large-scale pieces currently showing throughout the country.
“The C Gallery considers his lecture a gift to the small gallery, being far removed from urban centers, where artists of his caliber often find their audience,” gallery director Connie Rohde said in a press release. Rohde mentioned that Goodman and his spouse have a home in Los Alamos, allowing them to visit her gallery often.
“I consider each conversation with him to be an art lesson, informally and generously offered,” Rhode said in the release.
