The C Gallery in Los Alamos is putting out a call for submissions for the upcoming “Miniatures” show in October. Submissions are due Oct. 15, 16, 17,and 18 at the gallery by 4 p.m. There’s no theme, no age limit, and no restrictions on media, but all artwork must be original and must be 6 inches by 6 inches (by 6 inches if 3-D) or smaller. The work needs to be ready for display, and the size includes the frame, if a frame is used. There’s an entry fee of $30, which covers the submission of three miniatures. The opening reception for the show is set for Oct. 24 from 4 to 6 p.m. and will feature miniature food items. The public is invited, and the opening is free. To get an entry form, or for more information about the event, visit the gallery online at thecgallery.com.
