The C Gallery in Los Alamos has been invited to exhibit art at the historic Union Hotel, as “an extension of the gallery,” according to Union Hotel proprietor Dan Thompson.

The hotel will display art that’s pastoral, somewhat western, and exemplifies the region. The C Gallery has brought together a photography collection by Heidi Peschel, a Los Alamos photographer. This will be the first of a series of ongoing exhibits by the C Gallery at the Union Hotel.

There are 10 pieces of art on display in the dining room, open to the public on weekend evenings, and several pieces in the main lobby.

There will be a reception for the artist at the Union Hotel on Saturday, March 3, from 4 to 5 p.m. in the lobby.

For more information about the opening reception or about exhibiting work suited to the Union Hotel setting, visit thecgallery.com, or call the C Gallery at 344-3807.
