With their regional playoff appearance on the line, Bulldog baseball rallied to take two games from No. 4 Palomar last week. According to a press release from Allan Hancock College Athletics, the team took the first game 3-2 and followed up with an 8-2 win in the second game.

The Dogs have now improved to 24-14-1 on the season and have earned their first spot at the Super Regionals since 2010.

For the second round of playoff action, the Dogs will come up against top-seeded Orange Coast College, which is 29-9 overall. Hancock will open the series May 9 at Orange Coast College.
