The Allan Hancock College football team will open its season on Sept. 6, with a game against Santa Ana College. It will be the first time the Bulldogs take on the Dons.
Returning head coach, Kris Dutra, begins his 14th season with the Bulldogs and has the second most victories in Hancock history.
The team’s record-setting wide receiver, Shane Henderson, will not be returning this season.
The roster is filled with a lot of local talent, as well as players from 15 other states. The Bulldogs played their annual blue and gold scrimmage on Aug. 23.
