Following another successful season, the Allan Hancock College baseball team is headed back to the state playoffs for the second year in a row.
The Bulldogs finished the regular season ranked second in the Western State Conference, with a 13-7 conference and 21-14 overall record. They’re currently ranked 12th in the Southern Conference and will enter the playoffs as a 13th seed, taking on fourth seed Chaffey College in a three-game series in Rancho Cucamonga.
As for their opponent, the Chaffey College Panthers finished the season at the top of the Foothill Conference with a 26-10 overall record and are ranked fifth in the Southern Conference.
The first of the three-game series is scheduled for May 7 at 2 p.m., followed by the second game at noon on May 8.
