A day of free golfing demonstrations and instruction from Professional Golf Association players is on tap at Nipomo’s Blacklake Golf Course on April 11 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The expo kicks off with a series of half-hour clinics, beginning at 9:30 a.m. with LPGA pro Dixie Eckes teaching pitching. At 10:30, world-renowned instructor and “Dean of Golf” Dean Reinmuth demonstrates full swing technique, then the PGA’s Jim Delaby shows how to solve those tricky hilly lies at 11:30.

At 12:30 p.m., Ogie—recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as “The World’s Fastest Golfer”—will attempt a new world record of 90 drives in 70 seconds.

Golf Talk Radio co-hosts Mike and Billy offer tempo training at 1 p.m., and Eckes returns at 2 p.m. for chipping instruction.

Golfers can try out clubs during the event at Golfland Warehouse’s tent sale, with major vendors setting up shop on the driving range. Golfing will be free for attendees on the course’s practice zone after 4 p.m. with a coupon, which can be picked up at the resort.
