People Helping People, a nonprofit organization providing social services to Santa Barbara County residents, will be holding its annual Wine Country Bike Trek June 24 through 26.

Riders can sign up for a three-day ride, with camping for two nights at Midland School in Los Olivos, or a one-day ride on June 25. The three-day ride begins at Hans Christian Andersen Park in Solvang on June 24. Riders will be taken to a campsite and will have the option of a 30- or 50-mile route each day. Volunteers will be on hand every 10 miles with fully catered rest stops. One-day riders will begin and end at the campsite in Los Olivos and take a 30- or 50-mile route on June 25.

Meals will be provided after the ride, including a traditional pasta dinner and a tri-tip and chicken barbecue with a vegetarian option. Santa Ynez Valley wines will be provided free of charge at both dinners, and local bands like Foggy Dew will perform both nights.

For a three-day ride, a minimum of $350 in paid pledges is required for adults, and $175 for children 14 and younger. Adults must collect pledges totaling $100, $50 for children, for a one-day ride.
