In-Shape City locations in Santa Maria and Lompoc are joining the company’s other franchises in the first-ever “Biggest Winner Fitness Challenge,” a competition awarding $10,000 in cash and prizes to members who lose the most body fat.
The contest is open to all club members and the two “Biggest Winners” (one male and one female) will be determined by total amount of body fat lost. Cash prizes include $2,500 given to each winner, awards for second and third place, and specific club honors. Each contestant who finishes the contest will also be entered in a contest for a trip to Hawaii.
Participants must register at In-Shape by
Jan. 31, and the contest runs for 90 days. The club will hold regular weigh-ins and before-and-after photo sessions. Each participant will receive a free session with a personal trainer and some starting tips. Additional personal training can be bought, but isn’t required to participate.
In-Shape City is located at 1318 S. Broadway in Santa Maria, and 501 W. Central Ave. in Lompoc.
