The Santa Maria Community Television show Be Informed will feature a special one-hour interview with actress and Santa Maria resident Jane Russell spilling the beans about her life in film, stage, and other entertainment venues, as well as her personal life.
Russell has appeared with Hollywood’s biggest stars in 25 films, including The Outlaw, His Kind of Woman, The Tall Men, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, The Paleface, and Son of Paleface. She also performs in a musical show that she put together, titled The Swinging Forties, at the Radisson Hotel in Santa Maria.
The Russell interview is the latest in a string of acclaimed community service programs produced by Be Informed host Don Tinsley and co-producer Kaye Tinsley.
The one-hour show will air on Comcast channel 25 in Santa Maria May 11 through June 12. The program airs each Monday and Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. and on Fridays from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
