You thought La Purisima was just a mission? Think again! The La Purisima Mission State Park has 2,000 acres of open land waiting to be explored during the Kids Outdoor Camp, set for July 12 through 14.
During the three-day camp, held from 10 a.m. to noon daily, kids will have fun learning and exploring the park on ranger-led hikes, making nature crafts, and playing outdoor games. The camp is open to children ages 8 to 10.
Registration is ongoing, but space is limited. The cost is $30 per camper and covers all three days.
