257 words David Ryan gets ready for Empty Bowls
David Ryan Gallery’s Oct. 3 Art and Wine Party will feature the kickoff for this year’s Empty Bowls fundraiser for the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County.
Stop by to browse bowls made by local ceramists. Most will be available for $20. Buy them at the event, then use them at the luncheon at the Santa Maria Fairpark Pavilion on Oct. 22.
Orcutt-based LaRocco’s Italian Deli and Grocery will provide hors d’oeuvres for the gallery event, while Foxen Winery and Vineyard will provide the drinks. The party runs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Also, October marks a sale month for David Ryan Gallery: Paintings, sculptures, pottery, blown glass, and jewelry will be discounted 10 to 40 percent.
