Central Coast band takes Refuge at MotionZ
Central Coast middle school band Refuge will perform from 5 to 7 p.m. on July 13 at MotionZ in Santa Maria. The band will take the stage to play originals as well as covers. Though theyāre still young, the band members have been gigging since they were 10 years old. Their self-titled CD of all-originals will be available at the performance. Itās beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the Guild
Los Padres Artist Guild is announcing a āCall to Artistsā for participation in its annual Christmas show, held Thanksgiving weekend at the Abel Maldonado Community Youth Center in Santa Maria.
Artists are welcome to show and sell fine art, jewelry, woodworking, crafts, glass art, sculpture, wearable art, home dĀ»cor, Ukrainian eggs, Christmas ornaments, and more. However, the art must be the artistsā own work. Commercial items are not allowed.
The show opens at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, with a gala reception until 10 p.m. Hours on Saturday, Nov. 29, are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 30.
Space is limited, so applications should be turned in soon.
