Students meet Peter and the Wolf

Fourth grade students will get an introduction to the Santa Maria Philharmonic Society with a free concert of Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf played by the full orchestra.

Led by maestro John Farrer, the concert will take place at 9 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. on Feb. 17 at Calvary Chapel, 2620 Santa Maria Way.

God’s Favorite will support Women Voters

Enjoy Neil Simon’s comic masterpiece God’s Favorite at the Santa Maria Civic Theatre and support the League of Women Voters while you do.

The benefit performance is set for Feb. 22  at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $25 and include  beverages and snacks during intermission.  The Civic Theatre is at 1660 N. McClelland St. in Santa Maria.
