Two Allan Hancock College graduates just got a little richer as recipients of $250 scholarships from Town Center Gallery. Ana Maldonado is a graphic design major and will continue at Cal State Northridge. Nastacia Perales will be transferring to CSU Monterey Bay to major in visual public art, with an emphasis on art education.

Both winners will show their work at the Town Center Gallery. Their display is available for public viewing during the gallery’s regular hours Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at 321 Town Center West in Santa Maria. Town Center Gallery is a nonprofit, cooperative gallery and offers art classes for all ages in addition to displaying the work of local artists and promoting art in the Santa Maria area.
