Patrick Ortiz, owner/operator of Ark Tennis, will work together with local tennis athletes during the annual Ark Tennis Camp.
Held April 21 to 24, the camp will take place at the Orcutt Junior High School tennis courts. The camp is divided into three sessions: beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. The beginners’ camp runs from 8:45 to 10 a.m., the intermediate session runs 10 to 11 a.m., and the advanced camp runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The camp costs $30 a week and, according to Ark, is a great way for kids to exercise and improve their tennis skills. Rackets are provided; non-marking shoes are required.
For details, contact Ortiz at 934-9911 or visit the website at www.arktennis.net. This is not a school-sponsored event.
