The Altrusa International Foundation of Santa Maria has announced the recipients of its fall grants, which totaled $17,000. The group has a long history of donating and supporting local literacy, education, and arts programs.

The recipients of the fall grants include the Friends of the Guadalupe Library, Oasis Senior Center, Court Appointed Special Advocates, Santa Maria Valley Humane Society, North County Rape Crisis Center, Orcutt Children’s Art Foundation, Children’s Resource and Referral Service, Santa Barbara County Ed Teacher Grants, Santa Maria Valley Discovery Museum, Bridges to the Nations, Central Coast Music Academy, Grace Lutheran Church Early Child Literacy, GenSpan Volunteer Outreach, and Domestic Violence Solutions.
