The Lady Bulldogs basketball team is gearing up for its annual Bulldog Classic Tournament. Scheduled for Dec. 12 through 14 at the Joe White Memorial Gymnasium, the event helps local families in need.
According to a recent press release from Allan Hancock College athletics, Toys for Tots of Santa Barbara County estimates that it will be donating to 500 Santa Maria families in need this year. Fans who bring an unwrapped toy worth $10 will receive a tournament pass to the games. The tournament kicks off Friday with games at 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 5 p.m., and 7 p.m. Saturday’s consolation game starts at 1 p.m.
