The All-American City Committee in Santa Maria invites city residents to attend the committee’s general meetings scheduled for the fourth Tuesday of each month beginning in January. The All-American City Committee works to enhance civic health and pride within the community by fostering collaboration between communities and organizations from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors.
The first meeting of the committee is scheduled for Jan. 27 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the City Hall Conference Room, 110 E. Cook St., Santa Maria. The committee will finalize its goals new year at the first meeting. All following committee meetings will take place at the City Hall Council Chambers. The five appointed committee members will consider local input on community leadership, government performance, volunteerism, civic education, community cooperation, vision, and pride.
