Shame on you for making light of a very serious situation going on at Fighting Back (āBig trouble all around us, Jan. 13)! Those employees have literally been mentally abused, harassed, and treated like dogs by Teresa Menchaca. The way she treats people/employees is appalling!
Her best friend is Alice Patino, who is the president of the executive board, and who is leading the investigation. How nice and āsafeā for your best friend to lead the investigation. The board has known about this for two monthsāwhat is taking them so long? Alice Patino needs to recuse herself from the process and stay out of the investigation completely!
Her comment about this being like a divorce is ridiculous! These people are not āmaking allegations and yelling at each otherā like Alice states. They have all united behind each other and have taken their concerns to the board, who should be looking out for all their interests. Get with it, board! These employees do a great service here in our community and in our schools, and they love what they do. If you ask the people in the community that they work with on their projects and school functions, you will find that most of these people will side with these great Fighting Back employees!
