The Santa Maria Valley YMCA is now registering for Rookie Sports basketball and progressive swim lessons.
Rookie Sports basketball is offered to children ages 3 to 6. Games will be held Wednesdays from March 10 to April 7. The registration deadline is March 5, and the cost is $48 for YMCA members and $63 for non-members.
Progressive swim lessons are also available for children ages 3 and older. The classes teach water awareness and introductory skills for beginner and intermediate swimmers and are offered Saturdays from March 27 to May 1, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Private swimming lessons and youth swim conditioning classes are also available.
